Colourcon Roofing Tiles (Pvt) Ltd, a subsidiary of the Conmix Group of Companies (est.1953) based in Kandy, Sri Lanka pioneered manufacturing colour concrete roof tiles
in 1999 under an Advanced Technology Industry Program. It was a bold and innovative scheme where for the first time in Sri Lanka and the whole of South Asia, roofing tiles would be manufactured in a fully automated factory using the most advanced technology with stringent quality controls far above the industry norm.
As of 2014, Colourcon™ will be completing 15 years of operations in Sri Lanka. In these 15 years it has won 6 product awards from the Sri Lanka Institute of Architects with the first being an Excellence Award in 2000.
